This is a standard resit prep test for students re-sitting UGRC 150 Critical Thinking & Practical Reasoning (University of Ghana). It covers the official lecture slides: statements and sentence types, definitions and their problems, disputes and linguistic vices, types of discourse, the normative and the empirical, the senses of law, deduction and induction, valid syllogisms and soundness, hypotheses and predictive power, uncertainty in science, and informal fallacies.
Total: 100 marks · 60 minutes · pass mark 60% · up to 10 attempts. Questions are shuffled within each section on every attempt.
How written answers are marked: short answers and essays are marked automatically on the key points of the model answer, so state each point clearly using the correct terms (for example "modus tollens", "too narrow", "falsifiable"). After each attempt you see the model answer, a short explanation and the slide page to revise.
