Forever Move combines eggshell membrane (NEM) and BioCurc turmeric for joint comfort. Learn what the research says, how to take it, possible side effects and who should avoid it.
Stiff knees in the morning, aching joints after a long day on your feet, or pain climbing stairs: joint discomfort is common in Ghana, especially after 40, among traders, farmers, teachers and people who carry extra weight. Forever Move is one of the joint supplements people ask about most. Here is what it contains, what the research says, how to take it and what side effects to watch for.
What is Forever Move?
Forever Move is a softgel supplement from Forever Living Products that combines two branded ingredients:
- NEM® (natural eggshell membrane): the thin membrane inside eggshells, a natural source of collagen, chondroitin, glucosamine and hyaluronic acid, which are building blocks found in joint cartilage.
- BioCurc® turmeric extract: a form of curcumin (the active compound in turmeric) designed to be better absorbed than ordinary turmeric.

What does the research say?
Eggshell membrane
Eggshell membrane has been tested in several clinical trials in people with knee osteoarthritis. In a 2019 randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 162 adults, those taking 500 mg of NEM daily had less joint stiffness within a week and lower pain, stiffness and better function scores after 30 days compared with placebo, with no serious side effects reported. An earlier 2009 placebo-controlled trial also looked at NEM over 8 weeks.
These results are encouraging, but the studies are relatively small, short (weeks rather than years) and several were linked to the ingredient’s manufacturer. So eggshell membrane is best described as promising support rather than a proven cure.
Curcumin (turmeric)
Curcumin is widely studied for its effect on the body’s inflammation response, and some studies suggest it may help joint discomfort. Ordinary turmeric is poorly absorbed, which is why products use enhanced forms such as BioCurc.
Possible benefits
- Support for joint comfort and reduced stiffness
- Support for flexibility and mobility
- Support for muscle recovery after activity
Most people who benefit report noticing changes within a few weeks of daily use, but results vary.
How to take Forever Move
Distributor labels commonly direct three softgels daily (for example one with each meal). A bottle of 90 softgels lasts about a month at that dose. Always follow the directions on the label of the bottle you buy.
Possible side effects
Forever Move is generally well tolerated, and serious side effects were not reported in the eggshell membrane trials. Possible issues include:
- Allergy: it contains egg, and the label lists soy and fish; avoid it if you are allergic to any of these.
- Stomach upset: mild nausea or indigestion, often reduced by taking it with food.
- Medicine interactions: curcumin may interact with blood thinners (e.g. warfarin) and some other medicines. Talk to your doctor first if you take regular medication.
Who should not take it (without medical advice)
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- People with egg, soy or fish allergies
- People on blood thinners or with gallbladder problems
- Anyone scheduled for surgery
